Terms of Use

These terms are a contract between you and The True Troop Consulting Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England & Wales [Company number — to be added], governing your use of the TrueTroop AI Interview Simulator (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides AI-scored interview practice for planning and project controls professionals. You answer interview questions by typing or speaking; your answers are evaluated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic’s Claude), which generates scores and coaching feedback, and you can review and download session reports.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at tools@thetruetroop.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared.

3. Credits and payments

  • The Service is paid for through one-time credit packs, priced in pounds sterling (GBP) and processed securely by Stripe. We do not offer subscriptions.
  • 1 credit = 1 practice session. A credit is consumed when a session is started.
  • Credits are non-transferable and do not expire.
  • Cooling-off and refunds. Consistent with your rights under UK consumer law for digital services, you may request a refund of unused credits within 14 days of purchase by emailing tools@thetruetroop.com. Credits consumed by started sessions are non-refundable, as the digital service has been supplied with your agreement.
  • Prices may change, but changes never affect credits you have already purchased.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the Service;
  • resell, sublicense or commercially exploit access to the Service;
  • reverse-engineer, copy or attempt to extract the question bank or the evaluation prompts;
  • attempt to manipulate, game or interfere with the scoring system, rate limits or credit system;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit unlawful content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules (see section 9).

5. AI disclaimer

Scores and feedback are AI-generated coaching guidance, produced to help you practise and improve. They are not professional careers advice, and they are not a guarantee of any interview or employment outcome. Like all AI systems, the feedback may occasionally be imperfect, incomplete or inconsistent. Use your own judgement, and treat the Service as one preparation tool among others.

6. Intellectual property

  • The question bank, evaluation framework, report formats, branding and all other Service content are the property of The True Troop Consulting Ltd.
  • You own your answers. You grant us a licence to process them to provide the Service (scoring, feedback and reports), as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You may share your own session reports — for example with a mentor or employer — but you may not republish or redistribute the underlying question bank.

7. Availability

We provide the Service on a reasonable-endeavours basis. We aim for the Service to be available at all times, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation — maintenance, updates and factors outside our control (including third-party providers such as our AI, payment, database and hosting partners) may cause temporary interruptions.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of employment opportunities, earnings or profits. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing tools@thetruetroop.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms (including the acceptable-use rules), giving notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach where reasonable. On termination for your breach, unused credits are forfeited; otherwise section 3 refund rights apply.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — although if you are a consumer you keep any rights to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law provides them.
